Hey heroes, got a sec?
It's Sebastian, VGAN's pride and joy, with your weekly dose of Animal Attitudes.
I'm thinking it's time we gave our heroes their due. Sure, there's a marvelous movie or two, but I'm talking about the real heroes: vegans.
Look, everyone wants to be a hero these days. It's epic, you get to wear kickass costumes, and there's that whole inter-galactic saving the universe thing you do once in a while.
It's not easy being super, but vegans do it without breaking a sweat.
Everyday they choose to avoid animal products. They're not only saving lives, they're saving the environment at the same time.
It's no secret that factory farming is filled with horrors, but there are so many other negative consequences like water pollution and questionable antibiotic practices that affect human health and wreck the environment we all call home.
These are literally supervillain conditions we're dealing with.
Could it be Thanos? Maybe Darkseid? No, of course...
But don't fret, vegans are fighting back by choosing more environmentally conscious products. But there's still a long way to go though.
The secret is to align with your allies: plants.
Yeah, all the plants you're chewing and massacring at every meal must be protected and preserved faster than you can chew. It's the only way to defeat the evil climate change looming over us all.
As Sebastian, my high-rise condo is the envy of the animal kingdom, but most animals don't have that luxury. They're stuck in concrete jungles. Sure, some adapt, but it's not exactly ideal living conditions.
More green spaces means more homes for animals, plus easier breathing with cleaner air. It's a win-win.
All you need is some Soy Power to get you started.
So after your next vegan meal, be sure to choose a bicycle over a car, and recycle those wrappers. The environment matters, yo.
